In many cases, we conducted full Enter & View visits using the powers granted to us under the Health & Social Care Act 2012. Our decisions to visits services were based on evidence collected from a number of sources, including:

  • CQC (Care Quality Commission) reports - the regulator for health and social care

  • Reports received from local people about residential care, and

  • Discussions with Richmond Council

Enter & View visits were undertaken by project teams of Authorised Representatives. All Authorised Representatives have completed the Healthwatch Richmond authorisation and training processes.
