Quality Accounts 2015-16
By law, NHS providers have to produce an annual Quality Account. The Quality Account is a report for the public on the quality of services. It also gives an overview of how current standards are maintained as well as identifying areas and actions for improvement.
Providers are legally obliged to share this report with their local Healthwatch who then assess it to see if it is a fair and accurate reflection. Healthwatch then submit their own commentary on the report, which must be included in the published Quality Account.
